On 27 July, 2016, the Chinese Embassy in the Maldives carries out publicity of consular protection on Chinese enterprise at CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co.,Ltd China-Maldives Friendship Bridge project site. In his remarks, Ambassador Wang notes the Chinese Embassy in the Maldives attaches great importance to the consular protection work, and in the face of a growing number of Chinese nationals and enterprises “going global” and more complex security situation, the Embassy resolutely spares no efforts to protect and assist overseas Chinese in line with the guideline of Foreign Ministry and Central Government, adhering to the concept of putting people’s interests first and conducting diplomacy for the people and earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese nationals overseas by actively carrying out publicity of preventative consular protection on Chinese nationals and enterprises to avoid unnecessary loss of life and property.
