President Xi Jinping pointed out that China-Maldives friendly exchanges date back to ancient times, and that China and Maldives are not only good friends of sincerity, mutual trust and mutual assistance, but also good partners for common development and prosperity.
President Xi Jinping stressed that he attaches great importance to the development of China-Maldives relations and is ready to work with President-elect Dr. Muizzu to carry forward traditional friendship and deepen practical cooperation so as to promote China-Maldives future-oriented all-round friendly and cooperative partnership with more progress.
