The Chinese Ambassador to Maldives H.E. Mr. Wang Fukang attends the ceremony of Maldivian's first flight from Wuhan to Male'

On 3rd July 2014, the Chinese Ambassador to Maldives H.E. Mr. Wang Fukang and the Managing Director of Maldivian, Mr. Abdul Haris jointly attended the opening ceremony of direct flights from Wuhan to Male’.

This is the second direct air route run by the Maldivian company since it started the first direct flight between Chongqing and Male’ last year. The flight schedule is once every week and it takes approximately 7 hours between Wuhan and Male. So far, there is seven cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Kunming, Wuhan) of mainland China have opened direct flights or chartered flights to Maldives, giving much convenient to the Chinese tourists visiting Maldives.
